I’m going to submit questions about the abysmal I-526 processing speed. Would be nice if other people or organizations with more weight did just that.
100% agree, the waiting time to review an application in the 21st century is beyond ridiculous.
Can someone ask if our fees are being used for other purpuses outside of the EB5 realm. If yes, is this even legal?
My understanding of USCIS accounting is that fee revenue goes into a general pool that funds all agency operations. So the specific processing fee you paid was likely already spent and not necessarily on EB-5, but there should be funds in the pool to cover the cost of adjudicating your petition.
