Webinar invitations (Regulations Outlook and I-526E Processing)

You are invited to join me in two important webinar conversations coming up next week.

IIUSA is convening a panel on Tuesday, September 22 to reflect on the proposed EB-5 regulations and comment process, and to discuss EB-5 challenges and outlook. What do the regulations tell us about how DHS views the EB-5 program, and how is the industry responding? I’ll be speaking with James Sozomenou, Jessica DeNisi, Lulu Gorden, and Ozzie Torres. Register here for “Beyond the Redlines: What USCIS is Trying to Tell the EB-5 Industry.”

AIIA has gathered a panel for Sunday, September 27 to discuss important new data that reveals how USCIS has recently been processing I-526/I-526E by filing date, country, and TEA. (The data was just obtained via Freedom of Information Act request by AIIA, with assist from the valiant Knight Alexandra George of Galati Law). I’ll be discussing the data and timing implications with Gary Merson (formerly Chief of Staff at the CIS Ombudsman) and Charlie Oppenheim (formerly Chief of the DOS Visa Control and Reporting Division). Register here for “AIIA I526E Petition Inventory Analysis.”

I appreciate these chances for a meeting of the minds to address critical policy and timing issues facing the EB-5 industry today. The webinars are being offered free of charge, but have a lot of labor behind them. IIUSA and AIIA welcome support to help them continue their respective efforts on behalf of regional centers and EB-5 investors.
