Delay at the CSC?
September 28, 2010 2 Comments
Since August 16th, only one new Regional Center has appeared in the USCIS directory. In June USCIS reported 65 proposals pending, and only 12 approvals have appeared since then. Last I heard (June), USCIS was stating four months for Regional Center proposal processing, but I know of proposals submitted six months ago that are not yet through the pipeline. I wonder what’s going on at the California Service Center?
Our application for the Hollywood Regional Center (www.HollywoodRC.com) was received by the CSC on June 30, 2010. The confirmation letter stated that they would get back to us within 120 days, but I understand that there is a one month delay. I’ll keep you updated.
Thanks for this information. In the 10/14 EB-5 Stakeholder Teleconference, USCIS did report a one month delay from the target processing time of four months, and also admitted that 83 new proposals are currently pending at the service center. With new staff about to be trained and a new application form about to be implemented, I hope that the dust will settle quickly and that new procedures will result in better processing times. Best of luck with your application.
